Nickel Boys 2024
Some pretty impressive technique at play here! The first person POV is not gimmicky at all—even when it’s a bit distracting—leading to some of the most unique scenes and flow I’ve seen in a film recently. Even though it ran a little too long for me and left a bit to be desired dialogue-wise, I found Nickel Boys as visually captivating as it is emotionally powerful—a film to remember for sure.
