  lemme preface by saying i hate war movies. i can get behind this one tho bc there’s way less blatant islamophobia for no reason.

  the romance was PERFECT everything was directed very well, but esp the personal moments, i felt a touch of his family’s input 

  and ofc i bawled buckets, alw & esp when biopics show the real images at the end.

  the over explanation of the fake science shit and the horrendous accents everyone had was off putting at first but once the political commentary started kicking in i was fully invested.

  edit: changing it from 3.5 to 4 cause tbhhhh this is really good romance and i genuinely loled
