  You know a director has reached a stage of maturity when they start playing with the form of their medium. Luca Guadagnino's "Queer" reminded me of "Call Me By Your Name" when it comes to the conveying of raw and intimate feelings, but the surrealistic parts in this one, as well as the "disembodied" shots or my personal favourites - the superimposed ones - truly prove that the Italian director is ready to bend and break the rules in order…
