  I was completely bored at first and had to have music in the background  because I couldn’t deal with the total silence. HOWEVER, I really came to enjoy this one. At some point I just didn’t care about having no sound. The story itself was actually funny and interesting. My heart went out for Mrs. Margarete, towards the end of the story I actually felt bad for her.

  France will live again!

  Having the movie start out as bubbly and lighthearted and then go into a more darker tone is genius.
  Love the nostalgic feeling of old black and white movies. Very dramatic in terms of shots, music and facial expressions - kinda miss that in most movies today. Also maybe we should go back to have credits and important messages at the beginning of movies. I quite like that.
