literally what was this movie? the full star is for the interesting theme they tried to explore but in all honesty it was not done well at ALL because why are we supposed to side with a freaky monster who thrives off bodily fluids?? also super unrealistic because no one would get that freaky over jacob elordi… he really isn’t that hot…
also tbf all the freaky scenes were so so so badly written and were so clearly just for shock factor. like. please.

such a beautiful movie. i’m a newbie to film watching but even i can tell the animation in this movie is so lovingly made. every part had my jaw hanging wide open at how gorgeously animated some scenes were. the only reason why i have the film 4 1/2 stars is because i feel like the fact that pavitrs universe literally began to FALL APART wasn’t shown in depth enough, which is a shame because i feel like it could have added a layer to miles’ motivation. other than that, definitely one of my fav movies i’ve watched this year!! :)

The Perks of Being a Wallflower 2012
movie was really good! i think his ptsd was conveyed pretty well in his actions. we are infinite will always be iconic!! (the only thing i think the book did better was developing character relationships— some of the minor characters in the film are a lot more shallow than they are in the book)
