Late Night with the Devil 2023
I don’t know how to feel😭 initially I liked this movie a lot. It was a 5/5 for me, kept me on my toes the entire time. The use of AI ruined it all though.. Why create art if you’re going to lazily use a tool that is known for stealing other people’s art? I enjoyed this film for its creativity, which is pretty ironic

The Killing of a Sacred Deer 2017
the monotone dialogue was so painfully awkward and creepy and the pacing was longgg. I get that that’s what they were going for and I liked how it was unsettling at first but I think that overall the film had symbolism that the average viewer (me 😭) wouldn’t be able to decipher by watching this film alone and I think that was a large part of why I didn’t feel taken away by the story. It did feel like torture watching it so that was executed well and the acting was also phenomenal 🙂↕️
