  The Massive Attack needle drop is an instant +2 stars

  Looking back on the past few years and their many soulless blockbusters, I appreciate Blade II more now than I perhaps ever could before. It’s got personality to spare: at once entertaining, funny, goofy as hell and sometimes scary. Wesley Snipes is the hardest motherfucker alive as Blade, and also a lovable goof. Might be one of the greatest superheroes put to screen.

  Really, Oscar bait? A man of your talents?

  Lincoln is 40 percent dull monologues, 40 percent just a parade of a ridiculous amount of character actors and 20 percent legitimately compelling political games.
