  way too epic seeing them flood the colosseum. unfortunately i think about the roman empire often. a lot of parallels to the current state of america. honor and strength. glory or death. i love a two noun pair.

  If I did not know that Miss Saigon was already an acclaimed work, known as one of the greatest theatrical productions, I would think it was a well disguised piece of propaganda, reaching the edge of being a possible hate crime.

  i feel like all my recs so far are just me crying but alas....this is also slice of life (surprise!) but with a bit of magical realism and (sighing) i think i would rec this anime to anyone as well. just the whole question of giving up a future life where you know you're happy to help somebody else ;_;
