I really thought it was very well made. But here's the problem with true story stuff .....your always left wondering afterwards....is it accurate?

It's good!!!....it's NOT what you expect, and look at that poster, what a KICK ASS poster!. What you get here is a very nicely made movie and I'm SO GLAD i watched it.

Making 'The Shining' 1980
It's for me, one of the greatest documentaries showing true behind the scenes footage of a film. And I think it needs to be said time and time again really how great this film is. I wish that more stuff like this was shot on other films, where we got to see other directors working away...it's the oddest thing really but we hardly ever seem to see casual conversations between two people (on the set of a film) being shot…

Like it a lot....a lot.
Is it as good at the first one?...hmm, well the answer to that is tricky. It's just a very different film. I believe they shot the effects in 60mm or 65mm or 70mm...and the rest in 35mm....and there's a strange noise on the image. I personally do not know what star rating to give it...very hard to decide.
There's a lot of great shots and sequences in this. Roy Scheider was brilliant in it, but then he was always a favourite actor of mine...very good actor.
