  First half of this movie is great. Good premise, neat world building, and setting up lots of interesting elements. Also, I love how Patterson plays the Mickey character.
  But it totally falls apart in the second half. 
  Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette’s characters don’t work for me at all. And everything that was set up in the first half ends in pretty uninteresting ways. 
  This isn’t a bad movie. But it’s not near as good as it could have been.

  Michael Bay’s gonna Michael Bay. The pace of the editing, the amount of lens flare, and the number of “hero” shots… all hilarious. 

  Pretty dumb story. And way too long. 

  Also, TJ Miller is the worst.
