  When the credits came up, I involuntarily said “fuck this film, man”.

  More questions than answers, more drivel than interest.

  Why did the boys decide in a snap decision to sail to Spain? Why did the film tell us that Souliman’s body was found in a fishing net, to then tell us it was not? Why does Souliman choose to occupy the body of the investigator?

  Magical Realism is a sub genre that is intrinsically mysterious and while this film aims for mystery, it instead produces arbitrary enigmas.
