Kind of unrealistic timeskips (a horse can't travel from southern Germany to south-west Spain in a day) and unrealistic fights. Cinematography was also weird at some moments. However, love the story and still one of the best movies in classical history setting in my opinion. Ending made me cry.
As this is the first Wes Anderson directed film (am I supposed to call these things 'projects' now?) I've ever seen, it felt like a caricature of all Anderson-memes out there. The 'stage play' narrative style was massively distracting for the first half of the story and made me cringe at times, but nonetheless still ended up being a fun watch. Dahl's story on its own is amazing, and Benedict is highkey killing it here. Great cast, any film featuring Ralph Fiennes will automatically get +1 from me.
