Total disaster of a movie with a PR nightmare. You have two unlikable leads alongside laughably bad CGI. The Latino “representation” is superficial since Rachel Zegler doesn’t speak Spanish, doesn’t visit her homeland, and does nothing of relevance for the community. The Latino community does not claim her, plus she’s a snob. Gadot also doesn’t add anything that helps the movie. Peter Dinklage was right, fuck this movie and it looks to be a box office failure (which is good)

YOOOOO FAT JOE I SAW YOU MY GUY
He’s in one scene for like 2 seconds but I got happy when I saw him lmao

Admittedly, I’m very biased for Hustle because I love Adam Sandler and it was filmed in Philadelphia. I have walked the streets Adam Sandler walked in this movie so that’s just really cool to see. I can see it being called generic cuz it’s about a scout trying to make a prospect play professional basketball.…

Ughhh, documentaries like this are so frustrating. They frame things in a certain way that helps their case and they’re clearly on one side of the camp. Like I see the points they are trying to make and they’re quite valid, but they fluff them up to make you think a certain way. And I laugh at the marketing tactics they poke at, but yet the trailer is edited in a certain way to reach the audience THEY want. Maybe it’s the Netflix marketing but I found that very IRONIC.
