The Substance 2024
An interesting conceptual proposual about the problems of hypersexualisation of women, the role of women inside of our society and especialy inside of Hollywood. But the movie is supported only by the brutal perfomance of both Demi Mooe and Sarah Margaret Qualley, and of course the interesting topic. However, the rythm is slow and the ending feels out of context.
A funny, interesting and respulsive movie. But it loose its potential in the weird and out of context ending. It feels like the director wanted to make an absurd and feminist movie and find its way in the final 20 minutes.
