The Last Duel 2021
Beautifully shot film that takes the same event and tells it from three different perspectives. A fun framing device that allows you to see how different character interpret major events - and what it means for their decisions through the story.
I really appreciated the heft given to the weapons and armor in the battles. They’re wearing and wielding HEAVY things and it shows. The brutality is perfectly done, which is rare to see in a film.
Well worth the time investment.

This came out at the height of the Judd Apatow produced comedy machine so it feels familiar, almost comfortable to watch.
