Watching this again felt like finding out Santa wasn’t real. 5-year-old me would have called it one of the best movies of all time but unfortunately my brain has grown since then. I feel like they almost did something a few different times (commentary on what it means to be a leader, the cruel cycle of evolution and the way we cope with it) but never fully got there. First 20 minutes felt like Disney just reused their Tarzan plot…
