The Times of Harvey Milk (1984)
Documentaries of the 80s and 90s seemed so much more real and less manufactured.
What this film’s greatest strength is when it was made. This was filmed roughly six years after Milk’s assassination and by not having such a wide gap in time to tell his story it provides a more accurate account from the interviewees from their opinions to their relationships with Harvey as a person.
