Godzilla Minus One 2023
Holy shit this movie was awesome. I haven’t seen much of the Toho Godzilla stuff but this has to be one of the best. Definitely better than any of the recent monsterverse films we’ve gotten.

A Real Pain 2024
Man I was not expecting to love this as much as I did. I related so much to both of these characters and the story I felt struck the perfect balance of grief with instances of comedy.

Overall an enjoyable sequel although very messy. Feels like there were a million things going on and nothing ever really came to a satisfying conclusion. The main plot wrapped up in the blink of an eye, it felt very rushed.
