This feels too real not to be based on true events. Kinda reminds me of “Aftersun”, in the same way that it tugs on your heart strings and hits you straight in the core of your soul. You can call it a romance movie sure, but I think we all know the end will leave us sobbing. Captain America: Brave New World 2025
I actually liked it! Despite watching it on a fairly dark screen, I still loved how separated this feels from the rest of the complicated MCU non sense. Someone who’s never seen any of the previous Captain America films should have no issue jumping into this story. It’s tense, and has an emphasis on action sequences. The final battles do feel like a big deal and they’re really fun to watch. It was a perfect valentines movie in my opinion…

Netflix has been on a roll this year w their original movies. This is a definite highlight. It’s pretty much “bodies bodies bodies” meets “talk to me”.
