In the Mood for Love 2000
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
It's subtle and purposeful, not only in the cinematography but also in the movement and flow of the characters. Confined to small, claustrophobic spaces, they are forced to encounter and experience each other, which, given their background, organically envelops them in a beautifully painted depiction of the potential complexity of human romantic relationships within a fairly colloquial setting.
