Robot Dreams 2023
Such a beautiful film about adult relationships, loss, and growth that comes from loss. Also very mature subject matter for an animated film while still being family friendly, and this is why we need more animated films for adults!
Without spoiling too much, sometimes we're Robot, and sometimes we're Dog.
10/10 Classic for me because it is now in the sad romcom group of films I watch after a bad breakup while devouring a bucket of Van Leeweeuns ice cream. Also very rewatchable for its accurate depiction of NYC and the lack of dialogue which just makes the characters even more vibrant and full of life.
