  Extremely hard to watch and not enough of a content/trigger warning. Went into this expecting to learn more about the geopolitical side of the conflict and was instead confronted with horror after gore after horror. These are the realities of war and some confrontational scenes were to be expected but this was beyond comprehension… for me, there was nothing to be gained from watching this film it didn’t advance knowledge/understanding of the conflict it just makes your heart hurt and…

  Hard to watch cos it was soooo cringey for most of the first half. I hate the way American films play up “aussie culture” to an absolute caricature like no, people in Sydney are not all calling one another “mate” or “drongo”. I’m a sucker for a rom com usually but this was just one big (cringe) money making exercise and sureeellyyy NSW state government sponsored this like come onnnnn
