Memoir of a Snail 2024
Hallelujah!!! Finally, after years (honestly), a recent stop-motion movie has been an absolute gem! It gave me that childhood feeling again, and I haven't fallen in love with a stop-motion film this much in forever. I love how many great lines you can pull from this movie. The scene with Gilbertβs adoptive parents praying turned into an inside joke between me and my bf, and itβs just so funny! I relate a bit to the character, especially her obsession with snails β when I was a kid, I loved watching them crawl around. To my new favorite movie: welcome.
