Bradley Cooper flexes the breadth of his acting chops. I'm currently studying musical theatre so was fascinated to watch this biopic on Lenny Bernstein. I didn't know his story prior and this film is quite tragic, with Leonard' grapple with his sexuality taking centrestage. It felt however that the music took second place, and as an aspiring composer, I feel I didn't get enough insight into what exactly sculpted him into the incredible maestro he is.
