Perhaps less timeless than I had originally expected but still excellent! I love people making what they want to make and I love broad comedy for comedy’s sake.
In many ways it carries more millennial flavor than silent era. It feels like an indie game let’s play and I’m sure we’ll see Hundreds of Beavers DLCs and Hundreds of Beavers skinned expansion packs in tabletop game stores soon enough, but it doesn’t really detract from the massive comedic achievement this is.
