Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas 1998
This was a cartoon of its source material, which is the only way I think it could have ever been adapted. Wacky zany wooha DRUGS. Didn't convey the same sense of constant panic, aggression, and paranoia. Would have been a bit funnier if they did. What a trip anyway, though.

A Hard Day's Night 1964
They're one of the greatest bands in the history of music, but boy were they incredibly goofy. Very fun and silly. Watching this feels like one big joke that everyone's in on, even the viewer, and we're all keeping the bit up together. So unserious but in a great way. Maybe I just think that because I love this band. A couple great songs thrown into the mix too. Pretty good deal!
