having to google a bunch of different things about a film immediately after you leave the cinema is either a very good or bad thing. maybe i didn’t get it, or maybe i went in with expectations a little too high about what i thought i would “get”.
overall, there was a mixed tone that made me unsure when the plot had properly begun. scene to scene we were jumping around from quip to quip filled with expectation meeting subversion…
