Go watch this if you haven't already. It explores the rickety path that is set up for the artist in this world by showing Daniel Johnston through the lense of an unbiased collection of other's accounts of him. It is also a tale of Johnston's battle for genuinuiety against others want for power. In the end it may be his striving for accurate externalization of his inner life that gives him power over other people's hearts and minds.
