Attack on Titan The Final Chapters: Special 2 2023
I was lucky enough to have the entire theatre to myself when I watched this, and man, what an experience it was. I rarely tear up when watching anything, but this finale of a true masterpiece made my eyes water on multiple occasions. It is truly a work of art.

I have no idea why I had any expectations for this film considering the trailer basically gave away the entire plot but I went into the theatre expecting something remotely enjoyable and I was severely disappointed. Even for Mark Wahlberg the acting was poor and while I do get that it’s difficult to make much happen inside the contents of a tiny aircraft the action scenes were boring and all seemed to last a minute or two at most. The 1 star goes to that decently cool landing scene which wasn’t amazing but was the highlight of the film.

After giving this film a second watch I honestly didn’t give it the credit it deserves. The mixture of comedy, romance, action and suspense was perfect and it had me drawn in throughout the entire film. While Tarantino didn’t exactly direct this film it still felt like a Tarantino film, with all the over the top violence and incredible dialog.
