I obviously didn’t find this adaptation as good as the 1995 one (due to no Colin Forth), but i still do like it quite a lot. The acting was amazing and the way the story was told was so good too. The only reason it’s at 3.5 stars and not 4 is due to the line ‘my feelings shall not be repressed, you must allow me to tell you how ardently i admire and love you’ not being included.

The Shining 1980
I watched this film after reading the book and i must say i was disappointed. The film was good yes, but the book set so many high expectations which it didn’t meet and i felt a lot of it was missed out. I did really like the actors and felt it just as scary. King is an author I've recently grown fond of, so will hopefully be watching more of the film adaptations as i go through the books.

Psycho 1960
I really enjoyed this film and have started to appreciate and enjoy watching black and white movies now. Obviously, due to when it was made, the action parts were not going to be realistic but that slightly put me off. it was also not as scary as i imagined it too be. Apart from that, i would rate it very high and am very excited to watch more Hitchcock films.
