Dark Waters 2019
For starters, I’m a sucker for movies like this, aka “the little guy goes after the industry foe and faces impossible challenges.” I’m no conspiracy theorist, but I think issues like the one this movie revolves around are prevalent among American society touch every aspect of our lives.
I think Mark Ruffalo’s acting was well-done, special shout out to when he achieves a defeated, dead-eyed look. Anne Hathaway always serves disgruntled housewife like no other. Great movie, really good pick…

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish 2022
Really really great. My boyfriend and I watched together. We commented on how amazing the main villain—Death—was. It was actually chilling at moments. I also just have to add that I laughed so loud at Jack Horner’s first line that it nearly burst my boyfriend’s eardrums. GREAT casting choice with John Mulaney. Great voice acting by all. I also really enjoy nice representations of Spanish culture. Great plot and easy, captivating character arc for Puss.
