had me for the first half and then kinda dropped me. The romance at the end is super ham fisted and annoying. overall, super cool stuff, amazing coloring, and a really interesting take on the idea of the collective unconscious. I’m curious to know why so many japanese film makers were so interested in these kinds of ideas at the time.
