What a great film. A really easy watch.
So much to like about this film, but mostly it’s just a lot of learning about it each other and trying to do things to make each other happy. It wasn’t always about offering a solution, but about trying to alleviate some of the pain.
Casted so very well and a style that I really didn’t expect to like!
Enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. Despite it having everything in it that would lead me to liking it; a great cast, basketball, business, I just didn’t think it’d do the story justice.
I was wrong. Such a great film, such a great portrayal of one of the most significant deals in the history of sport. It made me want to feel the deep passion each person involved in that deal had for what they were doing.
I was excited throughout, which considering I knew what was going to happen throughout, felt pretty impressive.
Will watch again, soon.
I think this might be top 5 of all time for me.
There’s so many things I enjoyed about this movie; the visuals, the writing, the acting, the charming grittiness.
A great story, told impeccably. Felt such an easy connection to the characters. I usually don’t enjoy rewatching movies less than 2 years after I’ve watched them, but all I want to do is go back in and go through it all again.
