How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies 2024
”Amah you’re my first place.”
Watching this after spending a whole day with my Amah made it even more emotional and impactful. One of the best family drama movies i’ve watched (along with Still Walking that I watched recently).
This movie is such an culturally relatable story and everyone in my family and all of my uncles, aunts and cousins should watch this movie.
I hope i’ll spend as much time as I can with my grandparents before they pass away.

All About Lily Chou-Chou 2001
A coming of age film about depression and loneliness captured and executed perfectly.
Watching this felt really nostalgic and painful but they did an amazing job with it. It was not to straightforward and not to over the top with the message and some scenes were uncomfortable to watch but I guess that’s what makes it so good.
That the teenagers escaped from life through music made the movie really relatable, thank you to brockhampton, frank ocean, arcade fire and all the other artists that helped me through my teen years. It made the soundtrack of my life pretty great. <333

The Seventh Seal 1957
Ingmar Bergman is officially my favorite director <3
He challenges viewers to confront the complexities of life, death and the human experiences/relationships. The storytelling and the visuals are beautiful.
Truly a master of the art
