  I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It felt like each I got an in-depth view of each characters psyche, which was very interesting. The way the movie flowed and the overall story progression felt very satisfying to me. I might need to reflect on some of the deeper meanings, which I found slightly confusing at times. I liked the way the different plot lines intersected; very Mrs. Dalloway-esque in a couple ways. In particular, it felt like such a perfect representation of true life; nothing felt overexaggerated the way movies tend to feel, which pushes them further from reality. Plus I’m literally He Zhiwu

  Just a masterpiece. Incredibly immersive. Cinematography is also better than I remember. After watching memories of murder I have more appreciation for the Sang Kang-ho who plays incredible roles in both.

  This movie is hard to rate. I feel like it either deserves a 5 star or a 1 star and I can’t decide which so I settled in the middle. I was able to get some of the references and symbolism but I can’t tell wether I’m too stupid to understand the movie or wether Kubrick wasn’t making any sense. Did we need 2 hours of slow motion space shots to complement the 30 minutes of plot?

  I don’t even know what to say. How did it take me this long to watch this. How did this not win best picture. Why was I so emotionally invested. Easily one of the best movies I have ever watched
