  The story and the characters which exist in it were so compelling that I already want to rewatch it. I am not Catholic but as a Christian I see how patriarchy and capitalism underlies the politics of my church community. I love that this film not only showcases that but also the humanity and dimensions that come with it

  I knew Miss Collins would be one of Carries biggest opps when she chose punishment of the other girls as her form of justice. My takeaways are such:

  Revenge begets revenge

  Infantilizing Carrie and inhibiting her ability to make decisions for herself rightly so led to the destruction of society

  Whomstever did the cinematography needs all the raises
