Conclave 2024
Though set in a distinct context this film can be easily analogised to the challenges of strong and unifying leadership at any level of society. It is both gripping while leaving space and time for reflection. I valued its exploration of what it means to have faith and love alongside doubt and fear. I also am interested in it’s questioning of the value of linguistic diversity in the ways it can divide and also unify groups of people. It tackles many of the enduring questions while applying them to modern issues such as gender inclusion. Beautifully shot and acted out. Worth a watch!
