One-take shots on each episode was phenomenal: techniques used to pass through the windows, to continue on a moving vehicle, to rise to the air as if the camera transformed to a drone… I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to take 40-45 minutes one-take shot in school scenes with tons of children to manage.
Second phenomenal thing was the actings, especially Stephen Graham’s and Owen Cooper’s. Hats off indeed. Owen has great years ahead on cinema, for sure.
Acting, cinematography and the story made Adolesence best Netflix production for me, after Roma and Ripley.
