It is so dull and boring at one point we all thought we were nearing the need of the movie and we had over an hour to go. There is no reason to see this. Please let the suffering end.

I love films where you can see how hard they tried. Everyone involved in this seems to have given it their best. I'm not sure what it needed but it definitely came close.

What can I say that isn't mentioned in every other review? Indiana Jones. Check. Huge set pieces. Check. Funny as all heck. Check. Great direction. Check. Here is something that doesn't get mentioned enough. Three great leads with some of the best chemistry this side of Ghostbusters. Considering the pedigree (Dana Andrews & Gene Tierney reunited six years after Laura by that films director Otto Preminger) I expected a lot. It's not Laura but its damn close. A bad cop on the run from himself and his past. A dame that could change him. The bad guy who is in the way. Or is he? Very enjoyable. The movie, literally, starts in the gutter and stays there. Beautifully shot and a great screenplay from Ben Hecht.
