as someone who has loved & appreciated kahlo & her work since the age of 14…. this was kind of disappointing because i had a lot of expectations. first of all, why wasn’t this in spanish?

what an experience!!!! visual storytelling at its best!!!! absolutely loved the found family trope <3 this was so stressful and i sobbed my eyes out but what a beautiful movie. the scenes are so incredibly animated & the background art is so so good! blender OG fr <3 this made me miss my cat so much. also FUCK THEM DOGS!!! (not the golden retriever tho mwah)
