overall very realistic show, really stressful at times due to the themes, but a really good watch. one thing that i really like about the show is how emotional dv is treated as seriously as physical dv. i also like how, despite her wrongdoings as a mother, alex's mom isn't treated like a complete villain like many characters that suffer from delusions and mania are treated. she's not a good mom, but i do believe that most of her mistakes…
