  I'll try and review this as more of a play than a film

  Extremely good, more depth to both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth in this than in the cohen brother film.

  Macbeth is ambitious and driven but also fearful and despairing. He's a giant figure but also deeply troubled.

  I almost cried twice during this, once during Macduff's scene and once during macbeths last monologue.

  I think I connected more with the story this time round as well because of where I am in my life.

  Shakespeare really was as good as they say unfortunately.
