Very funny but the rom definitely took a backseat. I wished we saw Simone Ashley’s fifth date. And why did they introduce the month long wedding festivities, I feel like we didn’t get to see get much. And this movie did much more for her personal growth vs romantic—which is fine! But it was unbalanced, especially for a man who’s barely in the mix despite having a backstory. We saw Jay more!
And Simone Ashley pls stop interrupting your sisters’ wedding!!!!

How much did Glenn Close get paid to say these lines, I need to know. Now did I laugh? Yes I did. But you know what’s not funny? Watching jarring camera movements and random slo-mo shots of *checks notes* Monique opening a jewlery box??
Now onto my rhetorical questions. Why did the boys seem actually possessed (throwing/eating 💩 and laughing manically) meanwhile Te got her menstrual? And why all the students backed away like nobody else in the class wearing…
