Before Midnight 2013
I think they ruined everything. The characters' development felt unrealistic and pretentious, making the movie more annoying than engaging. Celine's character is a total catastrophe—an annoying middle-aged woman who blames others for her own frustrations and is totally boring with her pseudo-intellectual feminist sentences. I understand that life and marriage can't be an endless love story with sparks; they're tough and challenging, but Celine's character feels like a completely different woman—bitchy and unbearable. The 2 stars are just for their 'old glory because after all, I was cheering for them and still believe in their happy end.
