  Soon realised 5mins in that watching portrayals of haunted and possessed women brings a really sharp, physical pain to my frontal cortex. All in all an uncomfortable experience.

  I had never heard of this film until I was almost forced to watch this with my family one Christmas Day under enthusiastic persistence from my mum’s (now) ex boyfriend. We were in my recently deceased grandpa’s house, I just remember being so uncomfortably disoriented, over-fed, over-tired to be caught off-guard with a film of this calibre. I heard perfectly timed exhales come from my mum’s bf every time Sean Connery came on the screen in his bizarre skimpy outfits. Now, 4yrs later, I appreciate how open & comfortable my mum’s ex was around us.
