Shinkai Makoto's movies are like having a gallery of stunning wallpapers. The blend of traditional Japanese romanticism and the spiritual storyline where two people swap bodies creates some interesting moments. I was hooked on the anticipation of the meteor streaking across the sky and the frustration of desperately trying to remember something, only to draw a blank upon waking up. I became very invested in the emotions of the main characters, and tissues were necessary. Moreover, apart from the incredible visuals and storyline, the music in this film is absolutely amazing. Overall, it's a movie that leaves you feeling warm and blissful afterward!

The movie is a collection of light-hearted events that are connected to each other, and it features many amusing and utterly adorable scenes. The music is very healing, and I especially love the colors that are used in the animated film and its slightly grainy style. The character proportions are lively and vivid, which adds to the overall appeal of the movie.

Miyagi's personal growth appealed to me more than his brother's shared basketball dream. It was inspiring to see him clumsily embrace basketball to cope with his loss and gradually transform that confusion into confidence as he grew. Additionally, I appreciated the detail when Mitsui checked his knee before fighting Miyagi.

Overall, the movie did an excellent job of portraying the five main characters. Seeing my childhood memory reignited on the big screen was a joy. When Sakuragi proudly declared to Coach Anzai, ' My proudest moment is now,' I again felt a deep admiration for their dedication and hard work.
