  Honestly nothing to complain about here. Hallucination sequences that remind you of the importance of a sober trip sitter. A closed ending. Blunt, biting social commentary that stays continually relevant, perhaps increasingly so. An average guy getting tossed through the ringer. Oh and Debbie Harry?? Its really great actually.

  Everyone says being a new mom sucks the life out of you, but for Madeline, it’s literal.

  Incredible concept for the genre that I’ve only seen as pitches, never a fully-realized film. I loved the added layer of shady “old boys club” dealings and the portrayal of single new motherhood. I found Madeline’s struggles to meet Grace’s undead needs a hilariously dark parody of life, with the entire film prepping me to root for mother and daughter at the end. …
