Heavily relying on shock factor, queer baiting and pretty camera shots. Zero exploration of Olivers psyche. He was not the sinister mastermind the movie tried to make him turn out to be in the last 20 minutes. Seems like the writers put more effort into coming up with fucked up aspects to include so that people can talk about them on the internet and less on building believable characters.
