probably would’ve enjoyed it more if i was still a kid (a given).

was very skeptical about whether or not i would enjoy watching this, but glad to conclude that this was hands down one of the most emotionally blissful films i’ve watched. still didn’t get myself to cry (a standard for myself with films), but definitely almost shed a tear. the movie really puts into perspective how difficult the circumstances are of those with disabilities, let alone being surrounded by such.

thoroughly enjoyed watching this film, though admittedly distracted at times. i think a big factor into the overall experience of watching it were the people i was with given the context and nature of the movie; high school and music. not only did we get some lovely tunes, but also some important and essential reminders pertaining to life.
