From Gulf to Gulf to Gulf 2013
i haven’t seen something this beautiful for a long long time. the beauty of some images made me want to cry. but i didn’t. because it just made me want to. this touched many places in my heart and pressed on more. also very nice to experience it in an exhibition place where all people come, sit, watch, and leave. where they stop, where they start, and when they move on…nice to observe

Eureka 2023
this is fascinating because it recreates what cinema fundamentally does and re-presents that very act within itself, layering it multiple times as a self-contained whole. and because it repeats the foundation of cinema within its own structure, the effect of something already powerful becomes even stronger. just like what miguel gomes, nicolás pereda, or any other filmmaker who shifts stories/narratives/perspectives through the use of time—while presenting it as disrupting time—does.

Human Nature 2023
I felt the humidity and the smell of the air in the film and the other things between them. I know this atmosphere. Maybe a bit too well. Depressing but a little beautiful too. Sometimes. Reminds me of the stories I write when it's summer.
